Over the last 20 years we have been a regular sponsor of the annual Euromoney Global Borrowers & Investors Forum that takes place in London each June, a conference that is always extremely well attended by SSA and FIG clients from across Europe, Africa and the USA and provides an excellent platform for DCM officers to meet with its core clients.
Daiwa’s own annual Tokyo Conference, the “Daiwa Capital Markets Conference”, which has been running for over 15 years, attracts top rated SSA and FIG clients from across the globe, offering them a key annual event to keep up-to-date with the Asian markets with the Conference attracting senior key-note speakers; this conference also provides a unique opportunity for our clients to maintain a presence with Japanese and Asian investors alike.
Two other key annual conferences attended by the Daiwa Group namely the IMF/World Bank meetings held in September/October each year and the meeting of the Asian Development Bank held in May, provide the opportunity to arrange top level senior meetings with our SSA and FIG clients with senior Tokyo Board Members along with senior officers from across the Daiwa network.
Away from conferences, we ensure that we maintain an annual presence by advertising our business success in one of the top financial market publications, namely the IFR.
